Baltimore, MD — Baltimore-based Brightview Senior Living, owner and operator of senior living communities in the Mid-Atlantic region, has acquired two assisted living communities in New Jersey. Formerly owned by J.S. Hovnanian & Sons, LLC of Mount Laurel, New Jersey and formerly managed by Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. of McLean, Virginia, the newly acquired communities include Sunrise of Woodbury Lake now called Brightview Woodbury Lake located in Deptford Township and Sunrise of Mount Laurel, now called Brightview Mount Laurel. The communities total 144 apartments and include traditional assisted living as well as Alzheimer’s care. The change is expected to have little impact on the community’s day-to-day operation and staff, or the lifestyle of the residents.
